It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Carlton (Jackson, California), born in Sutter Creek, California, who passed away on November 18, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ben Carlton and Laura Carlton; his wife Eileen; his close friend Janey Bryan; his daughters, Rita Carlton and Julie Wharton (Kevin); his stepsons, Douglas Grandbois (Cindy) and Tim Grandbois (Amber); his grandchildren, Margaret Swarts (David), Jason Walters (Paulina), Jess Walters, Sierra Grandbois, Traver Grandbois and Kendall Grandbois; and his siblings, Ben Carlton, Mike Carlton and Meada Cashatt. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
