It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Marie Stewart of Jackson, California, born in Walthall, Mississippi, who passed away on June 25, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sons, Andrew "Andy" Mixon and Mark "Marty" Stewart; her parents, Charlie Coon and Audell Coon; and her siblings, Delores Coon Beyers, Viola Coon Thornhill and Billy Dan Coon.
She is survived by: her son Mike Matienzo; her sisters, Mary Brumfield, Linda Ladnier, Jane Johnson (Jimmy) and Peggy Johnson (Dub); her sister-in-law Dana Coon; her grandsons, Jeremy Matienzo, Justin Chandler and Daniel Brown; and also Yolanda Lewis. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
