He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles F. Shelton and Ruth Bridges Shelton; and his brother Robin Shelton. He is survived by: his daughter Brandi Fontenot (Shannon) of Louisiana; his siblings, Charles A. Shelton (Judy) of Hurley and Diane Spicer (Howard) of Escatawpa; his great grandchild Shelton Lee Fontenot, Jr.; and his close friend Robert Webb. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Ochsner Cancer Center in New Orleans in memory of Donald G. Shelton.
