It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mercedes Barajas Padilla of Ivanhoe, California, who passed away on May 29, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Barajas Gutierrez and Paula Barajas Ochoa; her husband Jesus Padilla; and her son Freddy Garcia. She is survived by: her children, Ana Garcia, Valentin Garcia, Blanca Mendoza, Nely Garcia, Fernando Garcia, Luis Garcia, Jonathan Padilla, Jasmine Barajas and Saida Caballero. She is also survived by 41 grandchildren.
