She was predeceased by: her mother Martha Dominguez; and her son John C. "JC" Ruelas, III. She is survived by: her father Larry Dominguez; her husband John C. Ruelas Jr.; and her siblings, Irene Sullivan, Katherine Miranda and Roque Dominguez. She is also survived by two grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
