He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" Childs and Margaret Mortenson Childs. He is survived by: his children, Aubrey Henrie (Curtis), Colin Childs (Amanda) and Rhys Childs (Natalia); his sisters, Debbie Foote (Roger) and Sheri Alvey (Jim); and his grandchildren, Grace, Ella, Violet, Beaudry and Brynnlee.
