He is survived by: his wife Jane Wen (Huang); his children, Steven, Alice and Christine of New York; his close friend Chang of Irvine; and his brothers, San Francisco and Chen. He is also survived by loving father who enjoyed visiting his children and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the UCLA Brain Tumor Program.
