He is survived by: his children, Kevin (Teri), Karen Ortega (Daniel Ortega) and Steven (Hilda); his grandchildren, Daniel Adam Ortega (Monica), Taylor Rahmann (Sasha), Cody Rahmann (Marissa), Natalya and Julia Rahmann; and his great grandchildren, André Ortega, Bailey, Daisy, Sophie Rahmann and Mila Ortega.
His family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Diabetes Association at Diabetes.org.
