He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Bechthold and Viola Bechthold; his wife Kelly; his children, Kristin Hutchison (Don) and Bryan Bechthold (Julie); his stepchildren, Ricky Wilmshurst, Brian Wilmshurst (Tiffany), Steven Lovingier (Eryn) and Angelene Nottnagel (Matt); and his sisters, Myra, Wyleen and Lynell. He was also cherished by 15 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to the Veterans Association or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
