He was predeceased by: his parents, George Porter and Annie Hinton Porter; his wife Dulcie Porter; his daughter Valerie Cunningham; and his grandson Brandon Porter.
He is survived by: his sons, David Porter (Melaine) and Mark Porter (Daphne); his brother Clarence Lewis; and his grandchildren, Sierra, Destiny Porter and Davon Porter. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Inglewood Park Cemetery - Galleria Chapel (720 E Florence Ave, Inglewood, CA 90301).
