She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Slate and Maria Felix; her grandson Slate McAdams; her sister Elsa Slate; her brother-in-law Adan Noriega; and her great-nephew Alex Valenzuela.

She is survived by: her sister Matilde; her husband Juan Corona; her children, Tracy McAdams (Matt) and Marco Murray (Laura); her children-in-law, Marcela, Nick and Juan Miguel; her grandchildren, Owen, Noah, Isa, Zoe, Elliott and Ember; her sisters, Sandra, Pat, Mati (Pia), Esther (Donald) and Estella; her sister-in-law Tonieta; her close friend Evelia; her nieces and nephews, Mary An, Michael, Nydia, Ruben and Lalo; and her godson Cesar. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
