He was predeceased by: his parents, Reba Horwitz and Erwin Horwitz. He is survived by: his wife Anita Horwitz; his children, Nancy Ring (Mark), David Horwitz, Michael Horwitz (Loretta Withrow) and Stuart Horwitz; his brother Alan Horwitz (Allyson); and his grandchildren, Alec, Kayla, Justin, Ben, Katie, Chloe and Spencer.

Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to Baltimore Hebrew Congregation or the ASPCA.
