He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Nowak (Neal); his brothers, Gregory and Robert; his nephew Robert; and his great-nephew Jason.
He is survived by: his sisters, Lona Patzke of McHenry, Judith Moore of McHenry and Susan Jump of Davidson; his sister-in-law Mary Jane Nowak of Green Valley; and his brother Ralph Nowak of Indianapolis. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews, 12 great nieces and nephews and 10 great- grand nieces and nephews.
