“John was a fun guy and a good buddy during the two years I knew him at St Mary of the Lake in Mundelein. Our driver to the bball games we played against other colleges in that era. He later performed my marriage in 1969, and then we drifted apart. Suddenly came across his email address a few days ago (55 years later) and reached out to him………at what turned out to be 4 days after he passed away. Really strange timing. Sad that I wasn’t able to reconnect with John. One of the good guys.”
