“Hello, Victor and I have been friends for a while , surfed and traveled together. He was a great man and a great friend . We sure have some great memories at 20St. In HB. FYI if anyone is interested, we are having a paddle out at 20st. In Huntington Beach at 11 am . We will have a ceremony of life and will be scattering his ashes at sea. He will be greatly missed.”

“My brother Marshall became friends with Victor when he just moved from Mexico. He meet him at Garvey Junior High School on the playground. They both loved to swing on the high bar, I guess that was the start of Victor's gymnastics career that morphed into wrestling. These three high school buddies (Jack, Victor and Marshall) were all inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. Victor was a friend to all, love to play sports and was a person you could depend upon. He will be missed by all.”

He'd ask wanna go surf, when I hesitated, he was like ok see you out there LOL. Had several good memories working out in the courtyard of the apt complex, he kept up right with us all.
