He is survived by: his wife Alvena Markussen; his sons, Daniel Hillary (Jennifer) and Christopher Hillary (Kandyce); his grandchildren, Elissa Zavala (Thomas), William Hillary, Katilynn Hillary, Remington Hillary, Andrew Hillary, Elaine Hillary and Emily Hillary; his siblings, Thomas Hillary (Cecilia), Chuck Hillary (Nadean), Elaine Boh, Daniel Hillary (Sandra) and Roberta Couturier (Thomas); his siblings-in-law, Einar Markussen and Gaile Markussen; his nephews-in-law, Dillon Brown, Jerry Hearts and Jerry Brown Jr.; and his niece-in-law Sarah Hearts.
