He is survived by: his wife Yoko Niizawa; his children, Caroline Ayumi Riskey (Keith) and Joe Takeshi Niizawa (Warisa); his grandchildren, Jordan Kazuki Niizawa, Andrey Itsumi, Sophia Kotomi and Ryan Dwight Riskey; his siblings, Kazuro (Hiroko), Harumi (Sadako), Kiyokazu Niizawa (Hisako), Haruko Harazono (Kazuya) and Kayoko Terazano (Kikuo) of Japan; and his sister-in-law Masako Niizawa of Japan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
