She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry "Bud" and Flavia Lehmann; her husband Benedict Schafer of Omaha; and her sister Flavia Robey. She is survived by: her children, Catherine Schafer of Laguna Niguel, CA, Richard Schafer of Omaha, NE and John Schafer of Dana Point, CA; and her grandchildren, Andrew Schafer, Michael Schafer, Patrick Schafer, Catherine Schafer and Teresa Schafer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to a charity of your choice or to The Creighton Scholarship Fund for the College of Nursing.
