He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Marquis and Wanda Marquis; and his son David Marquis. He is survived by: his daughters, Annemarie (Sissy), Lucretia and Jeanne; his wife Barbara; his sister Gwen Marquis; his daughter Sissy; his grandchildren, Joe, Hank Schaaf and Julia DeLaMare; and also, Dave Schaaf, Lucretia, Scott DeLaMare and Jeanne.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Community Hospice of Modesto or, the UCSF Prostate Cancer Center (in memory of Jerry Marquis).
