She is survived by: her children, Andrea Gonzalez (Jorge), David Ferrel, Joseph Ferrel, Nicole Ferrel, Sheila Duncan (Asante) and Anthony Ferrel (Liza); her grandchildren, Valaree, Dominic, Jorge Jr., Asante II, Micah, Amaia, David Jr. and Janae; her great grandchildren, Dominic Jr. and Dezmond; and her siblings, Becky (Manuel), Shirley (John), Ernest (Linda), Lilly and Mike (Elvia). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
