He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Salinas Balderama and Tillie Acosta Balderama. He is survived by: his siblings, Daniel Balderama, Frances Balderama and Sheila Benavidez; his wife Wanda Dee; and his children, Rubianna Balderama, Iyesha Miller, Ruth Mora-Rodriguez and Mahyue Balderama. He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, one Great-Grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Ruben's name to organizations that support the rights and well-being of farmworkers, a cause close to his heart.

Ruben and I worked at "Sundial Ranch" years ago and lost contact over the yrs. I remember his kindness, that gave you the shirt off his back if you had none.
