He is survived by: his grandmother Nonie Smith; his mother Diana; his siblings, Supaha (Chance Carpenter), Pliny McCovey Jr., Amber (Floyd "Cowboy" Billings), George McCovey and Karmen (Andy Benson); the mothers of children, Taihvoochi Ferris, Tami Fletcher and Jessica Mosier; his grandchildren, Genesis, Aria, Akira, Dwayne, Miliani, Ruby, Jessie, Joshua and Odell; his pet Maya; and his nieces and nephews, Grant, Micah, Kinsi, Sonny, Blake, Taylor, Jada, Tsisna, Thomas, Trystan, Torin, Turner, Wayne, Avery, Olivia, Kayla, Natalie, Chance, Winnie and Eddie.
