He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Lewis Sr. and Jane Jefferson Lewis; his daughter Mary Ann Lewis McCovey; and his siblings, Jimmy, Alfred, Robert, Harold Lewis (Joe Boy), Lucille, Nelda and Maxine.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Lewis, Frank Lewis Jr., Gary Lewis, Nora Lewis, Fred Lewis and Linda Lewis Morgan; and his brother Gaylord Lewis Sr.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even a couple of great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
