It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Lara (Hoopa, California), who passed away on July 27, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Morek Jimmy and Josephine Marks; his parents, Margaret Marks Lara and Salvador Lara; his brothers, Salvador Jr., David and Richard Lara; his daughter Morning Dawn Lara; his granddaughter Samantha Ward; his son-in-law Vernon "Pro" Ward Jr.; and his nephew Beau Bevier.
He is survived by: his children, Franklin Lara, Dale Lara, Pete Lara (Kim Lara), Corbett Lara, Francis Lara and Margaret "Muffin" Moore (Floyd Moore); his stepson Dale Visser; and his siblings, Walt Lara Sr. (Callie Lara), Albert Lara, Jeanette Jones, Cecilia Lara-McCullough (Ed McCullough) and Mercy Garcia. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family requests that you practice physical/social distancing with your pods and family, and wear a mask during the services or when you are close to or near elders and children.
