He is survived by: his children, Thomas Kirkley, Melissa Kirkley and Steven Bertram (Ashley); his son-in-law Greg Willingham; his grandchildren, Jordan Willingham and Matthew Willingham; and his siblings, Lola Mae Snipes, Cora Holtbrooks, Ann Cantey, Billy Kirkley (Edna) and Mattie Tooter Gray (Mike). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
