He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence and Claris Y. Gibson, Sr.; his brothers, C. Y. Gibson, Jr. and Gerald W. Gibson; and his mother-in-law Marguerite S. Lindsey.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn Lindsey Gibson; his daughter Julie Gibson Halstead (Lt); his grandchildren, Kathryn Kindall Halstead of Harrogate, UK and Caleb B. Halstead III of Harrogate, UK; and his children, Ben Wayne Gibson, Jr. of Homewood, Jeremy, Joseph, Reade and Anne.
Due to COVID restrictions, services will be private.
