It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Lewis Mitchell of Hollywood, California, born in Morris, Georgia, who passed away on May 29, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Detron "Tron" Mitchell; his parents, Georgia Mae and Morgan "Coot" Mitchell; his sisters, Christine Smith, Catherine Tate, Flossie Johnson, Eva Murphy Omaha and Betty Reed Hollywood; and his sister-in-law Barbara Mitchell Omaha. He was also cherished by Nieces, Nephew, cousins.
