He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Anthony Villa-Ruiz, Mary Lou Ruiz and Mary Perales; and his brother Matthew James Ruiz. He is survived by: his parents, David J. Ruiz Sr. of Hollister, CA and Angelita Ruiz of Los Banos, CA; his brother David J. Ruiz Jr. (Bozzy); his children, Mariah Ruiz, Kobe Ruiz and Stephanie Santos of Hollister; his grandparents, Michael Perales and Leandra; his aunts and uncles, Gloria Ruiz–Dunn (Patrick), Helen Ruiz-Dennis (A. J.) of Hollister, Raymond Ruiz of Hollister, Robert Ruiz of Hollister and Michael Perales; his cousins, Daniel of Hollister, Jeffrey of Hollister, Jeremy Perales of Hollister, Rey of Hollister, Rosie Valdez of Hollister, Mendy Lum, Victoria Ruiz, Alicia Martinez of San Jose, Sheila Newton-Hollister, Jeremiah Dunn, Julie Ruiz and Ryan Ruiz of Hollister; his nephew David Jr.; his children, Anthony Ruiz of David Ruiz, III, Jacob Ruiz and Karma Ruiz; and also Virginia Valdez of Hollister. He is also survived by his two children, parents, older brother, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home from 11:00 a. m. to 3:00 p. m. ***** COVID RULES WILL APPLY *****.
