With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard A. Devaughn (Hollister, California), born in Childersburg, Alabama, who passed away on June 12, 2018 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert DeVaughn of Memphis and Irma DeVaughn of Memphis. He is survived by: his children, Marten and Ellen; his wife Marilyn Marten DeVaughn of Hollister, CA; his stepchildren, Marten Bradley of Lompico, CA and Ellen Brown of Seaside, CA; his son-in-law Lawrence Brown of Seaside, CA; his grandchildren, Miles Brown and Nicholas Brown; his aunts, Juanita Crews of LaGrange and Shirley Adamson of Oxford; his uncle Bill Adamson of Oxford; and also Richard. He is also survived by several cousins and close friends.
Donations are preferred to a favorite charity in Richard's name.
