He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramon Galvan and Refugio Galvan; and his siblings, Marina Almance, Juana Hernandez, Olivia Cardenas, Luis Galvan, Martin Galvan and Leonides Galvan.
He is survived by: his children, Efren J. Galvan (Ramona) of Sanchez-Galvan, Elida Galvan-Rodriguez of Hollister, CA. and Veronica Galvan-Alfaro of Hollister, CA.; his grandchildren, Ashley N. Barker, Enrique R. Rodriguez, II, Elias J. Rodriguez, Elissa A. Rodriguez, Ema J. Alfaro, Sofia K. Alfaro, Nichole Borinaga, Taylor Benjamin, Austin Benjamin and Jenny Gudaitis; his great grandchildren, Elena Z. Rodriguez and Felipe E. Rodriguez; and his brother Jose "Chaluy" Galvan. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
