Margarita Cecena Obituary

Margarita “Margie” Ceceña, born on December 19, 1959 in Fabens, Texas, left us too soon on May 24, 2021. Margie was preceded in death by her father Marcelo Orta Sr. and grandson Baby Ceceña. She is survived by her husband, Marco Sr., son Marco Jr., his wife Kelli and grandchildren Tarynn, Honey and Aiden, her son Jacob, mother Magdalena Orta, mother-in-law Blanca Ceceña, sisters Emma, Juanita, Nellie, husband Beto, brothers Marcelo Jr. and Luis and their wives Gloria and Grace and many others. Margie was a generous and loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed hosting family gatherings and cooking. She was famous for her green jello which will be missed at family parties. Margie worked from a young age, most recently as a mortgage consultant. She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed traveling with her family.

Private cremation will be followed by private family inurnment. Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, June 26 at 1pm at the San Juan Bautista VFW.

“Marco,, the boys and the aorta family. I am so sorry for your loss. When I posted the memorial, I couldn’t word all I wanted to say. When we lived across the street we were so close.
