It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Caporgno (Hollister, California), born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Joseph is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joseph's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Caporgno and Mildred Caporgno. He is survived by: his children, Bill Caporgno, Steve Caporgno and Karen Franco (Steve); and his grandchildren, Dustin Franco (Natalie), Lauren Durst (Robert), Ashlyn Horwood (Zach), Lindsey Graves (Travis), Krystal Day (Spencer), Kelly Sicely and Avery Caporgno. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Black-Cooper-Sander Funeral Home & Crematory (363 7th St, Hollister, CA 95023). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Ioof Cemetery (600 Buena Vista Rd, Hollister, CA 95023).
