He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Garza, Sr. and Carmen Garza; and his siblings, Ralphy and Trinidad. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Garza (Doris); his son Michael (Brandi); his grandchildren, Wade Garza and Rebecca Garza; and his siblings, David Garza, Mary Smith and Margaret Mendolla. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations are preferred to The Wounded Warrior Project or Salvation Army.
