She was predeceased by: her parents, Juana Bustillos and Santiago Bustillos; her daughter Silvia Serrano; her grandson Juan Gutierrez III; and her brothers, Emanuel Bustillos, Alfred Bustillos, Jose Bustillos and Salvador Bustillos.
She is survived by: her husband Roberto A. Serrano; and her daughters, Elizabeth Quezada (Honorio), Rosalie Betancourt (Richard), Christie Hernandez (Cesar) and Ruby Gutierrez (Juan Jr.). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren, 6 siblings and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home (870 San Benito St, Hollister, CA 95023). A rosary was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Benedicts Church (1200 Fairview Rd, Hollister, CA 95023). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (1100 Hillcrest Rd, Hollister, CA 95023).
