It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Federico Zúñiga Sr. of Hollister, California, born in Santa Barbara, California, who passed away on May 17, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Guadalupe Zúñiga Gomez; and his children, Cecilia Andrea Zúñiga Lopez, Maria Guadalupe Zúñiga Moreno, Blanca Dolores Zúñiga and Federico Zúñiga Jr.. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

In addition to his musical contributions to the church, he participated in the local music scene in San Jose.
