She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen Youngquest Strom and Rev. Carl Gustav Strom; her son Eric "Rick" Nordeen; her husband Frank; and her siblings, Milton, Wilber, Ken, Eldon, Marvin Strom and Arline Mord.

She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Oliphant (Brent) and Jane Westerfield (David); and her grandchildren, Diana Oliphant, Janie Oliphant, Peter Westerfield and Sarah Westerfield.
