She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Diniz Machado and Jose Machado; her husband Jose Martins; and her sisters, Paulina Lopes, Ilda Rocha and Maria Cunha.
She is survived by: her children, Jose Martins (Valerie) of Turlock, Alvin Martins (Michelle) of Stevinson, Diva Gonzalez (Jose) of Hilmar and Manuel Martins of Terceira; her siblings, Martin Machado of Turlock, Lucia Gil of Terceira, Alvarino Machado of England and Isidro Machado of Terceira; and her grandchildren, Christian Martins, Daniel Martins, Peter Pineda, Steven Pineda, Ashlynn Martins, Jessica Dick, Amanda Teixeira, Joey Martins, Brian Martins, Matthew Martins and Erica Alexander.
