He is survived by: his siblings, Leonor Silveira of Hilmar, Cremilde Fontes of Hilmar, Januário Azevedo (Olivia) of Livingston and Maria Silveira of Turlock; and his godchildren, John Azevedo (Fernanda) and Mary Serafina Fontes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
