With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jose Venancio Parreira of Hilmar, California, who passed away on September 20, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Parreira and José Parreira; his daughter Maria Arminda Oliveira; his wife Louisa; and his siblings, Tiberio Parreira, Manuel Parreira, Fernando Luis Parreira, Venancio Parreira, Maria, Tersinha of Jesus Parreira and Luisa Parreira.

He is survived by: his children, Joe Parreira (Merry) of Gustine, Manuel Parreira (Amy) of Visalia and Palmira Santos (José) of Hilmar; and his siblings, Horacio Parreira of São Jorge, Natalia Borba of São Jorge and Albertina Parreira of Terceira. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
