He is survived by: his wife Albertina Alves; his daughters, Fatima M. Silveira and Lizabette M. Smith; his grandchildren, Jessica Silveira, Jeremy Silveira, Jeff Silveira, Ryan Smith, Justin Silveira, Katie Smith and Jason Silveira; and his siblings, Max Machado, Maura Almada and Margarida Leavitt. He is also survived by his daughters, wife and sister.
