She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Evangelin and William Morgan; her brother Simon Morgan (late Ora); and her husband John Joseph Jourdan. She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Jourdan; and her sisters, Ruth Evangelin McKay (late Moody), Jean Pringle (James), Gwendolyn Brinston (late Willie), Lauvinia Mae Jinkens and Barbara Banks (Lawrence). She is also survived by several nieces, cousins, friends and extended family.
She also received the Black Rose award from the San Bernardino Black Culture Foundation.
