He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Heller and Lorraine Heller (Schmitz); his children, Marc and Lizbeth; and his brother Harold Heller.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne; his son Daniel Heller; and his sister-in-law Loretta Heller. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews other relatives and many good friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established for St Jude Children's Hospital or the Humane Society.
