With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Lou Simpson of Highland, California, who passed away on January 13, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Afton G. Simpson (Joe); her parents, Thomas Mankin and Bonnie Mankin; and her brothers, Frank Alsup, Rollie Mankin and James Mankin.
She is survived by: her children, Allen G. Simpson (Cindy) of Prescott, AZ, Lela M. Paramo (Jack) of Highland, CA and Denise C. Blakeslee (Kevin) of Banning, CA.; her grandchildren, April Levin (Sean), Jacob Paramo (Kaitlin), Matthew Paramo (Nicole), Andrew Simpson (Kindra), Hayley Lindroth (Cameron), Kristin Syverson (Cory) and Kimberly Huisken (Colin); and her great grandchildren, Lucy, August, Roslynn, Luna, Tyce, Violet and Jax. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Salvation Army.
