He is survived by: his wife Carole A Doherty of Hermosa Beach, CA; his daughters, Carole Ann Doherty of San Diego and Kathleen; his son-in-law Robert Gleavy of Braintree Massachusetts; his son Charles F Doherty, III; his daughter-in-law Lisa Bass Doherty of San Diego; his daughter Dianne M Doherty; his son-in-law Anthony Fitzgerald of Hermosa Beach; his son Robert M. Doherty; and his grandchildren, Sean Fitzgerald, Amy Fitzgerald of San Diego, CA, Patrick Fitzgerald and Charles F Doherty, IV of Chicago.
The family asks that in leu of flowers donations be made to the Parkinson Research Foundation.
