She was predeceased by: her husband Bryant "Buddy" Patraka; her parents, Essie Leibowitz and Michael Leibowitz; and her siblings, Jerome Leibowitz, Millie Sommers and Stanley Leibowitz.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jody Patraka (Rachel Schochet) and Rona Patraka-Greenstein (Howard Greenstein).

The family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause dear to Barbara's heart.
