She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Anthony Hernandez and Edelmira Hernandez; her children, Olisa, Carlos Ruelas, Tanya, Emiliano and Neita Ontiveros; her grandchildren, Carlos Jr., Joseph, Abram, Sunny, Demetrius, Angelina, Luyanna, Alisha, Mia Angelina and Amelia; her great grandchildren, Andrina Renee, Leighton, Scarlet, Milah, Ryann and Lyla; and her siblings, Jennette, Lisa, Herk, Mary Lou, Gilbert and John.
On February 10, 2021 at 5:02 p. m. in the University of California, San Francisco Hospital she gave her last breath due to COVID-19 complications and an underlying heart condition.
