She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Duran and Paola Duran; and her husband Luis Lozano Cortez. She is survived by: her children, Mary Jane Cortez, John Cortez (Sisina), Diana Salas (Ronald) and Rebecca Lopez (Martin); her grandchildren, Robert Aguirre (Natalie), John L. Cortez (Loc), Vincent Cortez, Randy Salas (Danielle), Martin Lopez (Megan), Alicia Warn (Taylor), Alex Salas (Savaughn) and Dennis Cortez (Chabely); her great grandchildren, Isabel Christian, Avonikah Salas, Kaleigha Salas, Anayla Salas, Jazzlynne Salas, Alex Salas Jr., Amelia Salas, Aurora Salas, Adoni Salas, Aulani Salas, Nellie Warn, Dakota Cortez and Oliver Cortez; and her sister Margaret Apolinar. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews she loved.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of the Chimes Reflection Chapel (32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA 94544, USA). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park (32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA 94544, USA).
