We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2024, at the age of 95, Iris Chleo Childs of Hayward, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jonas Estes and Clara Valiara Estes (Powell-Brown); her children, Pamela and Mark; her husband Doyle Gordon Childs; and her son Lonnie.

She is survived by: her caregiver Paula Harris of Fresno; and her son Brent Childs of Minnesota. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
