He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tita Raina and Janki Prasad Raina; his brother Ashok Raina (late Yogita); his nieces and nephews, Reema and Rohit Raina; his wife Nalini Kilam Raina; his children, Vivek, Neil Raina, Atasi Gantayat Raina, Dylan, Sienna, Simi Rattan Raina, Armaan and Aseem; his sister Shakuntala (Surinder Peerand); and his nieces and nephews, Akshay and Nikhil (Kamal).
