He was predeceased by: his brother Alfred; his wife Patricia Batteate; his son Dan (June); his grandson Daniel; and his great grandchild Ronny.
He is survived by: his sons, Mike (Kathy) and Nick (Carolyn); and his grandchildren, Gino Batteate, Vito Batteate, Dom Batteate, Norman, Patty, Dennis, Cathy and Vincent.
